This puzzle is challenging (so not for a beginner) but its pieces are sturdy, have lots of shape variety and the painting is beautiful. If you enjoy challenging puzzles and love art, then this puzzle is definitely for you!(I wanted to review the Mme Monet and Son puzzle as well... so I will leave a different review for it here since Amazon won't allow me to leave a separate review for another puzzle.It was the hardest puzzle I've ever completed and at times frustrating. The colors of the entire puzzle are all similar, which made it difficult and VERY challenging. I thought about giving up a few times throughout the assembly and I'm glad I didn't.Overall this puzzle brand is great; just make sure to pick a puzzle according to your experience so that it's still an enjoyable experience.
