This review is for the Brave Troops model. Initially there was an issue with shipping but the seller handled it very quickly and I received my model yesterday after contacting them a couple days ago inquiring as to the delay. The model is packaged well, with pretty much all the tools you need included. There are a couple of foam rectangles that make good work surfaces. You get a screwdriver type tool where you can change the ends by pressing in on a metal coupler and pulling out and flipping the tip. Of the two tips, one fits the slotted bolts used in the kit and one is a Philips head screwdriver I didn't need to use during assembly. The one that fits the bolts/screws was necessary to get into some tight spaces the tiny wrenches couldn't be used in, like along the "collar" around the neck. There are also tiny wrenches and a tiny hex wrench included, which is needed for the legs. I used some chain nose pliers and a pocket knife of my own. The pliers were to do the bends indicated in the instructions and the knife to cut the pieces free of the plastic. When you remove a piece, the shape and number of the piece is present on the board it was attached to, which is very helpful to check what you are doing or what piece you are holding if you are working with several at once. The metal is pretty solid, and while I probably could have bent it with my hands, it was more controlled using the pliers for most of the pieces that require bending (exception is piece 10, which you wrap around the chest, and is thinner and more flexible). The instructions are in Chinese, I think, and also in English. There are very good diagrams so you can see how everything is supposed to be assembled and what bolts to use to make sure you have the right lengths. The one quibble I have is that it will tell you to use 5, 11, or 13mm screws, but in reality, there are tubes with threading on the inside in those lengths which you push through to hold the model together with and then the majority of the time you use the 5mm screws to secure the fastening to hold the piece together. I read the instructions over and realized that my definition of screw and the kits were not the same, but it worked out once I realized just use the 5mm screws and the indicated tubes sizes to screw them into. There are some longer screws but you use them to affix the legs on and require the hex wrench, and the use of them is clearly called out in the instructions. I'm sure those tubes have a proper name, but I can't think of it at the moment. You have 2 ways to check the measurements. There is a card with a small ruler and size accurate parts diagram listing in the small bag of parts that contain all the fasteners as well as the tiny wrenches and hex wrench so if you are careful, you can make sure you always are using the right lengths. When I assembled my kit, I kept all the extremely tiny parts in a small bowl so they didn't wander off, and then kept the bent pieces there as well so they didn't get lost.I didn't have any issues putting the model together. I found that changing the order of some instructions made things a bit easier - for instance assemble the head with the chain in the mouth as you built it from the center out rather than try to get it in afterward you put in the first fastener worked better. I'd also probably not bend it at the outset as in the instructions, but wait until the head was assembled fully. On my second model I intend to bend part 10 before putting it around the "chest" of the model just to keep it nicely rounded since mine is a bit lopsided but it's not bad.I was able to assemble everything easily enough, and I left most of the fastenings loose initially to make sure I could wiggle anything I needed to as I continued to build the model. When I finished, I tightened up the fastenings so that things didn't move. I also make sure to adjust the legs so that the model would stand straight and level by keeping the legs loose initially, finding the positions they needed to be in, then firming up the connections.Overall, I was very happy with the kits. It came out very well and I intend to purchase more kits in this line.
